Profile deemed ineligible after receiving ITA

Hello All,

URGENT HELP/ADVISE REQUIRED!!!

We have a peculiar situation at hand and is really frustrating at the moment as we have no idea how to proceed with this.

My wife and I had applied for PR under FSW through the express entry system in August 2015. We had secured a total score of 458 and also received an ITA in January 2016.
We had 60 days to submit our documents and make the payment and our last date of submission is March 13, 2016.
However, on March 4th, 2016, we received an email from CIC/the govt stating that my profile is ineligible and I need to improve my profile in order to qualify for another application.
This is strange given that we intended to upload our documents on the 3rd of March, 2016, however, the website was down for maintenance or technical issues.

Has this happened to anyone else?? How do we deal with this??
Since they do not accept calls, emails or correspondences of any form, there is no way to deal with this as far as I know.

We have invested a lot of time, energy and money on acquiring all the necessary documents and WE WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE SOME GUIDANCE AND HELP FROM SOMEONE!!!

Whoever is reading this, please respond if you know a way around this.

Any advise would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Did you update the amount in the settlement funds section of your EE profile?
This was the reason why many applicants received this message from CIC saying their profile is ineligible.
Just update the new amount of POF required for your situation.

HI,

We are working with an agency and as far as we know, we had provided the bank statement showing the available funds in the account.

Also, the account is an Australian bank account. Not sure if that would have been a reason to cause this.

Is there any other way?

Your country and currency has nothing to do with it.
Did you just visit the above link and see the updated figures in Canadian Dollars mentioned?
The required figures have increased recently and you need to show minimum or more amount for your situation i.e. based on the no. of dependents in your application.
You or your agent need to log into EE profile and need to update the figure mentioned in the settlement funds section of the EE profile.
If the existing amount shown in your EE profile is less than minimum amount required, then it will be deemed as ineligible by IRCC.

We had about $17000 in our savings. If i am not wrong, the current amount required for a couple is $15,148 (approx).

Should I be updating something else/differently?

Hi,

We had about $17000 in our savings. If i am not wrong, the current amount required for a couple is $15,143.

Since we have received an email stating that we are ineligible now, would making ANY changes make it possible for us to continue our application before our deadline (13th March, 2016)?

Could you recheck in your EE profile if you have mentioned Canadian Dollars 17,000 available for POF?
If yes, then there is no reason why your profile should be ineligible.
If not, then re-enter the correct amount.

Another weird part is that now since my EE profile has been deemed ineligible, I cannot make changes to it.

It's like it is not editable.
