Professor/lecturer category

Hi,

I am applying in the category of university professor/lecturer. I have M.B.B.S (physician) degree but my experience is in teaching and currently working as assistant professor in medical university. I don't know which agency will do the assessment of my documents. I called university of Toronto and they were not sure what to do in this case. As per their suggestion I called medical board of Canada and they told me that they are accepting documents for assessment in the category of general physician and speciality physician. They asked me to contact CIC for clarification, but I didn't find any contact info on the website of CIC.

If anyone has any information/suggestions please share it with me. I will be highly thankful for that.

I have also similar type of problem. I am a pharmacist from Bangladesh but working as a lecturer in Dept. of pharmacy of a local University. I want to apply for 4011 category.

Whr should I go to evaluate my documents? PEBC or WES? they have no guideline regarding this situation. Can anyone help me out?

you can contact WES as they do credential assessment for MBBS

I doubt you are not eligible, because NOC for assistant professor in college is 4012.
4011 included only those who are in university

Actually , I have done MD in Anatomy and an assistant professor in govt medical college . The thing is 4011 category includes this subject - Anatomy and 4012 does not include this subject. I have also one year of experience as a general practitioner so can I apply for both the category 4011 and 3112?

I have contacted to PEBC. they replied that they evaluate only for Pharmacist category. for other category (university lecturer in my case) they suggested to contact WES or ICAS. I doubt whether WES evaluate my papers.

Probably not, as you are a lecturer in a College, affiliated or not, it is still a college.

Same case to me, but immigration consultant agency is overconfident that university affiliated college teaching experience will qualify.
