Hi All,

As my post crosses business and professional I thought I would post here.

My partner holds a PhD in Health Psychology and we own our own small business. The business is growing, maybe this year it will turnover £100,000. As the business is online it makes no difference if we are in Canada or the UK.

Actually one of the clients we deal with are the Inuit, we also deliver some work for Canadian magazines.

What would be our chances of being accepted to live in Canada.

Any help feedback would be great :)

To immigrate to Canada, you need to qualify and apply through one of the immigration programs listed on the following page:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp

I don't think investor / entrepreneur is for you (unless you have additional free capital). These categories require you to make substantial investments in Canada (e.g. have a net worth of 1.6 million minimum and be able to invest 800K in a business in Canada).

I would recommend you look at the federal skilled worker program and at the provincial nominee programs (also skilled worker). It will help a great deal if you can secure a job offer in Canada.
