hi
Could anyone guide me plz . I got pr in Manitoba under pnp general stream and I going to Winnipeg first time .

so, Should i bring the prof of available funds($10,000) at the port of entry when i first arrive in Canada or don't need those funds anymore and I can use them??

Thanks

I don't think you required to show $ 10,000 as proof of funds if you are a PNP. Just make sure that you are going to the province that has nominated you. You will only be required to show your itinerary I guess.

not exactly 10000 u need at port of entry but might immigration officer ask you to provide some funds that u r capable to live by ur own. if u r coming put of canada as pr. its requirement for settlement plan ..atleast 5000$ bring with you when u reach safe home manitoba u can send back money if u don't need.

U have to be in possession of $10,000 when you land, may be not in currency notes but in Canadian bank account or demand draft or prepaid visa card or travelers cheques.

The immigration officer gonna note on your COPR that how much money u r bringing and can even send you back ,if you don't provide the proof of the required money.

hey bro if u bring more than 10000 dollars then u need proof, if the amount is less then 10000 then u dont need any proof. CBSA is very strict regarding these kind of cases. so i recommend you if u bring more than 10000 then u need to show them legal document otherwise it will be a fine.
