Hello,

I cant find the processing times anymore. they used to be about 63 days (processing approval of sponsor) + the visa office sponsoring times (5 months for Sao Paulo)

Where can I find this information? the new search estimates 17 months! this cant be right! does anyone know anything about this?

Please and Thanks!!

CIC have chosen not to make individual visa office processing times public any longer. I think that's an average over all visa offices.

Scandian, the processing times for an application to sponsor (Canada) and a permanent resident application (Sao Paulo, presumably?) are probably still valid. My understanding is that the sponsorship applications are hovering around 69 days right now. The Sao Paulo office is probably a little busier than it used to be, but is probably not much higher than 5 months.

I am in the same situation as you. I got married in Brazil in November and submitted both applications in early December. I also can't see the processing times for each office any more, but I'm not worried. I think it's probably still very similar, maybe a little higher since a lot of people want to leave Brazil right now.
