Processing time

hi,
I am scheduled to submit my paper application and biometrics this friday, March 8.

I have a flight to the USA and have already purchased my plane tickets on April 14.

Will i be able to get my passport back by then? I am worried of delays.

Application for what and from where?

I am from philippines and applying for a visit visa (temporary residence)

Average processing time is 12 days but it could take longer. You would be pushing it but you may get your passport back before April 14th.

Thank you. Ive seen post ranging the same 12-19 days. But also noted some which took more than a month.

worst case, will i be able to pull out my passport (at risk of visa denial) so i could fly to US?
