Hello,

I've recently applied for a study permit, I had a reply from embassy that I need to go under a medical exam, which I did on 26 Aug. , I also had a reply from embassy that further processing of my application will take almost 3 weeks after my medical exam, and I should be expecting a final response from embassy on 20 Sep. , today is 24 Sep.

By the way, I am from Iraq and I applied for the visa in Amman, Jordan. I now wonder what to do? I tried to contact the embassy but no luck to have an answer. The problem is, I should be in Canada before 16 Oct. , what to do so I don't miss 16 Oct. ? Please help with this as I am now very confused...

Thanks

Brother ! InshAllah you will get your visa in a week or two. Dont worry, you had a medical call and your visa is not far from you now! Have patience

Thanks for positive reply....

1- But here's the concern, people here in this forum, did they had visa refusal after medical calls too?
2- when people get their visa rejected, it's usually rejected BEFORE/AFTER medical call?
3- I have my ESL on 16 Oct., today it's 29 Sep. and I still didn't get a response by email from visa office. Am I going to miss 16 Oct.? what should I do to catch 16 Oct.?

Thanks...

1. Medical call means your file is completed and is going to be reviewed by a visa officer. Yes, you can still be refused.
2. Both. No hard and fast rules.
3. As long as you have a study permit, you will be free to join any session later. Having a study permit is a key and you can come to Canada and study. No study permit, no studies in Canada. As simple as that.

Finally!

They responded, and they told me to send them my passport as soon as possible...

Would it have a smallest possible that it will get refused? or it means that visa is accepted?

Thanks,
