Dear All,

I have filed for PRTD for my son and we have received an email to submit Passport for stamping. We have opted for 2 way courier services from VFS Mumbai, considering that we have received an email with AWB number.

My query is regarding forms received in an email

1. Do we need to fill in 'Consent for Indirect Submission' page? If yes then what should we write in Name of the person?
2. Also another page where 'Applicants wishing to provide biometrics' - considering my son is 6 years old, this page should be blank. Is it correct?


Please assist with your inputs, Bluedart person will be visiting tomorrow for document collection...

Can you tell how did you submitted passport and got back? Through any courier service or in person? And where?

Hello- anyone recently applied for PRTD from India? My wife applied for PRTD on March18th and have not hear back anything. its been over month. We applied for urgent processing due to medical condition. Any useful information is appreciated. Thank you

Hi did you get any message - I applied for my wife in April 19th nothing so far.

Hi. I got my passport in 9 Business days after stamping for PRTD. Here is the timeline below
Passport request - 15th March
Passport submitted - 18th March
Passport delivered in IRCC office New Delhi - 20th March
Passport return despatched from office - 3rd April
Passport delivered- 4th April
