After 10 to 15 post they allow you to update your profile..., AOR = acknowledgement of receipts.

Hi Gyus
Its been almost 6 months since my ecas changed to In-Process, Nothing's happened.
:o :o
Thats my history:

Category: BC-PNP (Within Canada), I'm Working in Canada
Visa Office: Sydney, Nova Scotia
Nomination: Dec 2012
AOR Received: 31 Jan 2013
Med's Request: Feb 2013
Med's Done: March 2013
Police Certificate delivered to CPP: 10 Jun 2013
RPRF: Requested & Paid on 25 Jun 2013
ecas status: In-Process (12 Jun 2013)
Passport Request: Not yet!!

Do you think I need to Email CIC or Call them?!

Have you lived in more than two countries ? Did you work in a Govt organisation or in the military, do you live in Eastern Europe, Russia or any Middle Eastern country? If that is the case then it usually takes time, if everything is clear and simple then I think you should E:mail CPP-Ottawa or order GCMS notes to find out whats going with your application. This sure is taking a lot of time.

Yes. You should email CIC for status update. Also apply for your GCMS notes.

I am under SINP Skilled Worker.. I am inside Canada and i sent my papers to CIC-O and they asked for the payment for RPRF after few months of completion of submitting docs. After i send my payment to CIC-O, CIC Manila asked also a payment and i sent them an email informing that i already pay it already online and then i sent them a copy of receipt. The next day they asked me to send my Passport.

We received your application for permanent residence on March 11, 2013.
We started processing your application on October 31, 2013.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Now I am waiting an email from them regarding there decision to my PR application.. I'm very much worried...

Still no update on my file. I emailed to CPP-Ottawa but they forwarded my email to CIO. I got a reply from CIO that my file is still with them and under review. They received my file on July and I did my medical on September. They have only updated these two File received on July and medical results have been updated. Any one has any idea how long they are going to keep my file at CIO? When they are going to send it Ottawa and after that how much time it may take to get a final decision? I am really not getting the point why they are holding my file at CIO for such a long time!!!!!

They hold your file to 5 to 7 months depends on your history. They do criminal, security, egligibility, medical checks. When they are done, they will send it to ottawa. It took 2 weeks to 1 month for ottawa to recieve it. Then it takes about 3 months for ottawa to send you a PPR, then it takes 3 weeks to 1 month for them to stamp the visa and send it back to you (if you are lucky, it takes 2 weeks, if you are not lucky, it takes 2 months to stamp your visa). Your file is fine. Just chill and relax. April 2013 applicants didnt even have their PPR yet, yours wont be until beginning of 2nd quater of next years.

hi everyone. i just want to ask if the CIO will always ask for a police clearance? I had my papers on process since last July 2013 but until now i did not receive any response yet. While my co worker received their PPR last week after they submitted their police clearance. for my case until now i did not receive any email asking me to send any police clearance. Is it normal? Should i just wait for them? Hope someone can help me. thank you :)

Thanks bro. Its more than 50 days that they have updated medical results received. Let's wee what happens after 10-15 days.

I tried again today and it say's ghe same thing and im quite sure that i put all the required information they ask. Anyone can help if they are having same problem as mine? Thank you.

In a similar boat here.

My PNP application for PR was received on April 12, 2013.

They started processing it on September 12, 2013? Already paid the RPRF and did medicals in June, which they received,.

What's taking my application so long for a PPR? :(
