Thank you friend

I have been thinking the reason that takes so long for CPP processing my application since august 20 is maybe I did not submit my finger print based criminal check.. well i dont know cuz i didnt even know anything about that until June, and I mailed my whole application package in April lol
and I believe the security check should be the very last stage before they send the PPR, and it's certainly the most time consuming.. but what is security check exactly? well criminal check is easy to understand, just the police records shows if your clean based on your name, addresses and finger print..
if security check is about the organizations that applicants have been involved, im even cleaner on this part.. I had been a university student for a long time, never been enlisted or be part of any organizations, so why the heck it takes so long for CPP to process my file!
I understand patience is a virtue, but unlike most of the applicants in this forum, I'm waiting for PR to make a life changing situation.
the strike was over months ago, I just don't understand what the hell CPP has been doing ever since the strike was over, they should have enough man power now to be much faster.
Good luck to us all!

My application was filed FSW2 on 04/29/2013. The question for seniors here are as follows and looking for some understanding of the online status of application process

I was checking my status online and I found there are two lines
one says my applications was received on 04/29/13
the other says we started processing your application on November 7th.

The question is do I still have to wait for 25 months to get my PR. I got my AOR on 9/20 and still waiting for my medicals. Is anyone shed some light cause; its fuzzy

Thanks in advance for your input.

Same here, no update.

Received April 14th
Start to process Aug 19th
ME received ( Done in June)

RPRF cashed out in early Sep

Endless waiting :'(

Was wondering if someone could shed some light. It has been over a year since I filed for my husband. November 14 it shows on ECAS we started processing your application so were in process. How long after you go into process they ask for passport?

Guys,

Please advice,

I was laid off my job few months ago. I am searching for a job but couldn't fnd any.... However, I am a pnp applicant and my pnp category doesn't require me to have a job. My file was tranferd from CIO to CPP Ottawa last September. my ecase is "in process"

I am so worried that I am at the final stage now and I don't want that losing my job to be bad for my pr application. I want to knw should i expect CPP ottawa to contact me for updated bank statement since I don't have a job right now? If so, Can I ask my parents to transfer me money so I can meet the minimum fund requirements? I am worried that CPP ottawa will reject my case even if my parents send me money...... because this means that i can't support myself, and they may consider the money to borrowed. So, it is not actually mine.

Please advice....What should I do if I was asked about my employment or bank statement?
