Processing time for "We started processing your application on August 30,2013?"

well what i did in my RPRF was i first printed off the receipt, and filled up all the information on the receipt, my name, phone number, UCI, mailing address, then I upload it to the attachment, I only wrote my immigration file number in the email body. What i think is the officers might or might not read the email body, but they have to read the receipt for damn sure! so why put all ur information in the email which they may or may not pay attention instead of the RPRF receipt which they mush read?
Think logically dear friends!
So many question will not longer be questions when you think logically!

@ mayewam: Hi there, My case is same as yours... I got the exact same email for the RPRF yesterday. I paid it and sent it to the cost recovery email. I too have applied it under the PNP category from Canada. what is your status now?

And also when I sent the RPRF receipt, I did not enter the payer details, as it wasnt mentioned about that in the mail that they sent. Instead I included all those details in the body of the email I sent them. Is it fine? Or should I resend it filling up the details. Pl advise!

I am new here. As like all, I am also very tensed regarding my application. I was nominated from Ontario.

In my application Status, CIC is showing this status "Application received". When I clicked here, it shows these two messages:

1. Application was received on 18 July, 2013.

2. Medical results received (Updated on October 17, 2013).

In my application, there is nothing showing In progress or anything like that. I chose my CPP-Ottawa as my VISA processing office. Anyone has any idea, how much time it may take to finalize the result? What steps are to be followed after the status "Medical results received" ? I am very tensed and confused as in the website Processing time for CPP-Ottawa is showing 16 months. I sit really going to take 16 months from now on? If yes, from when they will start counting? From July or From October? Please share your experience, as I am very tensed.

i am new member. i applied as a quebec skilled worker on sept 2011. and i got interview on 7th nov 2012 and got my selection certificate. after that i applied for visa application to CIO nova scotia canada. i got my medical request on 8th march along with ppr and landing fees and medical done on 26th march 2013. on 26th may they ask me for my uk pcc and also they send my passport back and to submit with my uk pcc. i sent my uk pcc on 10th june alonwith my passport .but till date i did not get any update .please help me to application process. and my application -
application received on 24th december 2012
we started on application on 23rd march 2013
medical has been received
my application shows "in process"

I've done my medical exam on July12, and they started process my application on aug20, so I'd say ur status should be "in process" in December...or it could be sooner lol it really needs some luck to push forward..#sigh!

Sadly no, guess the other guys was right. If u apply more than one gsmc notes within a month, the early one will get cancel...so my last gem note was requested on oct3, guess will have to wait until nov3. Hopefully I'll receive my ppr before then!

go to cic official website, then search "atip". and go through the instructions.
in the options of "information act" and "private act", choose latter; and choose "public member".. well you will know what im talking about when you apply.

That's right. You will go via some steps, it will probably take for you as little as 15 minutes. Just read carefully witch category applies to you.
As an update, also there is no news from me too. Let's be patient and I wish we got great news for all of us very soon.

Any idea, how much time it may take to change the status from "Application Received" to "In Progress" ? They updated my status "Medical Test Result Received" on the 17th October 2013. After that, no update yet. Please let me know, if anyone has any idea about that.

I received AOR on June4,2013, well they received my application on April 11,2013. I got medical request on June10, done medcial June12, they received my medical results on June19. Then on August 20, 2013, they started processing my application. but note this, I wasnt able to see "in process" until August 24, 2013.
