What's PCC?

hi mayewam and zhu,

have you already submitted your PCC?

PCC probably means police clearance certificate. Well here is the thing, there are 2 kinds of criminal records check. One is name based that can be done in the local police station, it only needs ur name and the addresses in the last 5 years; then there is finger printed based criminal check which can be done in any RCMP commissionaire, it requires finger prints. Usually the name based criminal check is good enough for cic, however they may ask for finger print base criminal check if they found out there is someone else has a very similar name as yours, or something else that might concern cic. I did not know about the finger printed criminal check until June2013, where I already mailed my application package in April, I therefor apply a finger print based criminal check in June just in case cic require me to submit that, but haven't received such request yet.
I was told if ur case is "in process" that means ur criminal check is good, so probably no need to worry about the PCC.
Also, if u want to apply a finger print criminal check, it's definitely ur best interest to go to a RCMP commissioner to apply because they only need 2 weeks to process, whereas apply such in a local police station will take 3 months cuz they suck!! Lol

Another day of nothing. By lots of other member's timeline that I have been reading, it takes 30 days up to 4 months between in process to ppr, and now I have been waiting almost 2months since aug20,2013, I really hope I don't have to wait for 4 months hah
Any good news you guys?

Yes Zhu...Our PR application is under process as well...however ur application went under process before ours.....
Lets keep us posted...best of luck!

Well in cic first come doesn't always mean first serve lol

Oh my agent already got that from me before submitting my PR papers so everything is set.

I just got my notes recently, I'm curious to know other ppl notes too.

In Process on Sept 23. Security status is blank (no status at all). The rest are passed.

My VO is Sydney. But they just transfer my file to CPP on Sept 17 (last update - my note was printed on Sept 25). Let me know what is up with yours?

Weird. It didnt happen like that to me. I order one and got it.

i guess they just try to minimize the work.. if you apply atip notes more than once in 30 days, they are just gonna ignore the first time you applied and give you the notes based on ur last request, that kinda make sense..
i was an idiot lol

nothing we can do,so keep waiting

@mayewam: Hi there, My case is same as yours... I got the exact same email for the RPRF yesterday. I paid it and sent it to the cost recovery email. I too have applied it under the PNP category from Canada. what is your status now?

And also when I sent the RPRF receipt, I did not enter the payer details, as it wasnt mentioned about that in the mail that they sent. Instead I included all those details in the body of the email I sent them. Is it fine? Or should I resend it filling up the details. Pl advise!

Thanks a ton!!
