Could someone update the real time facts on processing time for ICT Work permit, if applied from USA ?

Is it 14 weeks really as posted in the CIC page?

Yes, I would plan on that based on what we are seeing here. Of course shorter and longer are both possible. But most likely it will take a few months.

Hi @vizcan , when did you apply? Are you done with biometric in USA? I have completed my biometric today and looking for some timelines so that I can plan my move.

@guncid I applied from USA on 7th OCt and Biometrics on Oct 24th. Still no updates. Today the processing time is changed to 12 weeks

Biometric letter received: 14 Nov 2022
Biometric Submitted: 28th Nov 2022
Passport Request Received: 16th Dec 2022

Posted processing times are very rough estimated but are often way off so don’t put to much faith in them.

You got lucky, haven’t seen aGSS applicant get processed in 4 weeks in a long time. Was around 3 months a few months ago.
