Processing time for application

Hello Everyone,

I got my ITA on oct 19, 2016 and AOR on Dec 1, 2016. Afterwards my status is as follows:-

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed Not needed at this time
Final decision Not Started


How long does it take to fully process the application. It seems i have been waiting for years and this wait is becoming more and more long as day passes by. People in the same timeline have got their passport stamping request ? Any experiences will be highly appreciated?

it varies from case to case ,it could take upto 6 months for them to make a final decision on your file

Each case is different buddy, so don't compare. It all depends on the information you have furnished and time and efforts to verify it. Don't worry, you'll get the final stamp, be calm.

It would give you as well a peace of mind if you will check the AOR tracker for December applicants. I do believe they have one. You could compare your status to theirs.

I'm a Nov 2016 AOR applicant, the most recent update that I've received so far was the Background Check being changed to "In Progress".
