Processing Fee: How to pay

I emailed the folks at the Canadian Embassy in Bucharest; they referred to their website (which I already checked).

Can anyone help out with instructions on how to pay, and whom the fee is payable to?

It's 50 Euros or 75 CAD for the TRV.

For residents and citizens of Romania, all fees can be paid in Euro (EUR) at designated branches of the Banca Transilvania. Please submit the original "Visa Link" and teller’s receipt.

Sow how does this work?

She goes to Banca Transilvania, does a direct deposit cash payment of 50€ to the bank teller and keeps the original bank receipt.


There is no mention of account number or banking code or to whom to send the money to on the embassy website. Is the teller supposed to know the proper information?

Figured it out:

For anyone applying in Romania, you have to ask the teller at the Banca Transilvania about making a direct deposit for a visa and ask for the receipt.
