They usually send Lansing interview if you are in Canada.

But I’m also expecting PPR as I reside out of Canada as well.

When you came to Canada? what's your current immigration status? Are you single or married any dependents ? And Criminal record? That's pretty much.

Spoke to Agent.
1st thing -He was rude. I know lot of people call. That's alright.
2nd thing- He told me honestly nobody will have the latest update rather than the case officer itself. So cases are taking 8 to 9 months. He told me BG yet to be started. 6 months is over this must be joke.

Like for real, I am pissed right now. This is not good way. Why the f**k do you say about 6 months timeline then. If you cant keep up. Dont process cases who submitted just 45 days ago. make it even for everyone. This is not cool

I think it will serve everyone better if the call center was dissolved and the funds go to hiring more case officers.
I have not read one comment that said the agent was helpful.

There are efficient and inefficient officers, for sure.

Last time the agent told me BG in process and yesterday another lady told me it yet to start... I don’t know what to say... I cannot hear wrong as I keep the recordings.

It's not fare to process some application within 45-50 days and making other files Pending from 6 months, they should treat equally and should process as first come first serve. !!!
