Procedure to withdraw passport for one day from embassy?

Hey Seniors
I have submitted my passport to CHC Delhi 3 months ago and now i have my TOEFL Exam and they require passport as identity prof. Could anyone tell what is the procedure to withdraw passport from the embassy for one day only?
Plz help me its uregentttttt

Go to the Entrance gate office of CHC with all your proof to show that you are the applicant. Take an officer at the counter.
