Problem with Immigration agent - EXREMELY URGENT NEED HELP

Hi Guys,

I got my first stage approval in January. I am now in the process of full documents to London Office for Canada Permanent Residency. I had a agent called WWICS (Originally company based in india).

I was dealing with there Uk office. Today i got a call from my agent(wwics) that they are closing down the uk office. Now i have to submitted my full documents before 5th may.

Now my problem is that my agent hasn't given my file number. As the company gone bust in uk, i need to apply on my own.

Can you please let me know, how do i get my Case number from Canada High commission. As i am not in good terms with my agent. so help and let me know the procedure as now on i would like to do my case on my own.

I am looking forward to prompt reply.

hi there, wait for seniors to comment but i would suggest send a letter to London office explaining the situation and that you dont have the immigration no (which is normally an email, and you need to send that with document submission). make sure you send them your email id, postal address and phone no etc.

good terms or not just ask them to hand over your file to you. they should not have any problems in that as it will be of no use to them as you will not be using their services. truth is they are only good to those who never ask them questions and pay as much they ask for.

Have you got the 120 day letter, file number is mentioned on that letter.
Even if they are closing the office still you can ask for letter mentioning 120 days deadline.
WWICS will give you that letter only when you pay them remaining fee.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

My Immigration agent is not giving me the number as i havent paid them full fees. They are not reply to my e mails now. so i am bit concern if i pay the full fees there is no way they are going to answer my question.

I do not have a any e mail or file number as they havent gave me.

I am now planning to fill an application form to cancelled the representation form and sent to chc. But not sure what is the procedure. if you know can you please let me know.

They already gave the 120 days deadline. my deadline is on mid of may. They fwd me that e mail but they hide the file case number.

Not sure what to do now :'(

Last option is to pay them fees and send the doucuments to there head office and leave it like that. as they are now not even helping me which documents required and other stuff so dont know what will happens once i pay the fees.

looking forward to any suggession from seniors ??

Firstly Relax... No hell has broken loose yet.
Here's what u should do:
1. U can always do it yourself, u don't need an agent nowadays.
2. Let me know u reside where? UK, Dubai, India, where?
3. If u r not in the UK, u can always deal with WW1CS offices in your city.
4. If u r in the UK, Don't pay any further fees to WW1CS.
5. Send an email to CHC-London stating all the facts about the WW1CS office closure.
6. Withdraw the 'use of representative'.

-b) Use the form IMM 5476 here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5476E.PDF
7. No fees needed. Just mail the form to CHC-London.
8. Apply for 'change of address & email ID'. They'll do it in 24 hrs. [e-cas will take 7-10 days]
9. Request London to send u the 120 days letter again. They can send it by email as well.
10. With the fresh 120 days letter u'll get your 'new' file no.
11. Don't delay the full apps. Send it asap [before the 120 days].
12. There on this forum shall guide u, if u have any queries.

Ps.: In a way it is good. U have saved some money. Consultants r not needed; and WW1CS is no good either.

For cancellation do we need a file case number ? as i dont have a case number and if i fill the cancellation form and wont get any reply earlier than i will be in trouble.

Do you know the e mail id of chc london office ? if you can you please fwd to me.

2. Then do the 'rep withdrawal' thing.

I only have a copy of e mail but the my file number they have hide it. but now if i got that can i send that e mail along with writting the number in my covering letter.

1. Yes, then send the complete docs alongwith the Form IMM 5476.
2. No, u may not send the pre-approval email, but u must submit the 'initial application' copy.

what do you mean by initial application copy ? can you give more information about that ?

I am going to submitted the whole documents again in second stage ( i.e : all my education certificates,work experience document and everything again. so should it be alright ???

2) I got the file number now but still I haven't received a my $1100 Payment receipt. which is still with my previous agent.

so once i cancelled the representative detail than in the future it will automatically fwd to me ? or do i have to mentioned about that in my covering letter to high commission. Please give me some guidance. :-[

The procedure for 120 days letter is to submit all supporting docs/papers ALONGWITH a 'copy' of the initial [1st 'bare' forms that u had sent to CIO-NS] application; and send it to the local visa office [your CHC].

Once u place a new address in the application/s, all future correspondences will 'automatically' be routed to that 'new' address.

what is the first initial bare form ? i dont have them. i am not in good terms with my previous representative. he wont give that it to me.

is the application form which we submitted at first place at the time of pre approval ?

do you know the name of that form ? so i can find out ? IS IT REALY COMPLOSORY ? I can filled out the updated IMM0008 forms. will not enough ?

once question.... a copy of initial application means an updated IMM0008 forms and other forms which my representative sent at the time of intial application right ?

I can fill that again as i dont have a copy of that.

sorry to bother you but my representative havnt told me much at the time of submitting an application and now i need to do all on my own. so trying to get better idea.
