It just keeps going up every time they update it! It was a total of 24 months a year ago, and now it’s 57 months, which is really annoying! Next year will become 100 months, then 200, and so on!

Combination of accepting too many applicants and Canada trying to correct an insane amount of immigration over the past 5+ years. IRCC created a mess. Hopefully they will pause applications to clear the backlog versus just adding to it.

So you got both the G-number and the approval, I only got the G-number and I am still waiting for the approval. Is your sponsorship SAH?

yep i got approval of sponsorship and g number at the same time and my file was transferred in ankara and since then there was no update and yes it's sah what about what about you is it g5 or sah

For me, it’s a community sponsorship. Yes, SAH applications appear to move forward quickly than other programs for G number and approval, but I heard, overall, the total time for getting the visa is about the same.
