Hi everyone! I plan to move to Canada in September and apply for the inland spousal sponsorship. I have some queations, if anyone can help me, thanks a lot!

1) Is it true that if I apply inland I can´t travel anywhere outside Canada during the process? I read this things a while ago, but an immigration lawyer told me that´s not correct, she said it´s better just to wait for the OWP (open work permit) to be aproved.

2)When getting my OWP, my 5 years old daughter can go to the publis school?

3) Staying and applying in Canada, I should renew my tourist visa until my PR is ready, is that correct? How many months before expiring the tourist visa I should begin the application to renew a new one?

Thanks so much!
I don’t know about the questions 2 & 3, but for qn , you need OWP to be approved and the TRV to travel outside Canada and come back while your spousal sponsorship is in progress

1- Your lawyer is right. You can travel all the time meanwhile your application is in progress with valid work permit and visa. Leaving or entering the country do not have any effect on your in progress application.
2- if your daughter is in Canada, she can go to school
3- If you have OWP, why would you apply for tourist visa? apply for a BOWP 4 months prior expiration of your OWP.

hope this helps! any other person can correct me If I have provided wrong answer.

He is in India and I m in Canada. Can we use my PPR email to get in his passport stamped in India and mine in Canada ?

Yes, submit a case-specific inquiry using the webform to request that his application be finalized at the Abu Dhabi office.

Thanks a lot!!! I never heard of that, so having my OWP I should apply for that? Does someone have the link of tthat?

I think I can´t apply for a BOWP if I´m still not a PR. Is that correct?

If you’re currently working in Canada You may be eligible for a bridging open work permit (BOWP) if you‘re approved in principle for permanent residence. If you’re eligible, this permit can let you keep working while you wait for a final decision on your permanent residence application. You can apply for a BOWP any time after you submit proof of your work experience

if your PR is in process then you qualify for BOWP to stay in Canada until you get a decision.

You are posting in the CEC section of the forum. This is a COMPLETELY different immigration stream than spousal sponsorship and you are going to get wrong information. Post in the Family Class section.
