Principal Applicant (Inland) Dependent (Outland) during COVID-19

Hello all. Still waiting for dependent PPR. principle applicant got PR card. We got a medical request for the dependent and it has been updated as well. They created a new application# for the dependent to process the medicals. Anyone with similar experience? How long will it take to get PPR ?@Manishamahajan58

I have no idea about that as they didn't ask for my spouse's Remedical.
We provided upfront remedical. Anyways, it won't take much time i think but still you keep on reminding them to issue PPR.

Hi, what did you do with the SOWP application. Today my spouse got automatic withdrawal notification in GC Key account for my spouse.

But that SOWP withdrawal does not effect the PR status right? She hasn't entered Canada yet but got COPR & Passport stamped already.

AOR: Late 2020
Spouse remedical: Oct 2021
Portal credential: Early Jan 2022
eCoPR and PPR: Late Feb 2022 (1 day gap)
- Emailed >50 times to Ontario ircc at <IRCC.ClientPortalOntario-OntarioClientPortail.IRCC@cic.gc.ca> for CoPR. No response.
- Emailed Calgary IRCC few times highlighting stressful situations for both applicants at <IRCC.ClientPortalPrairies-PrairiesClientPortail.IRCC@cic.gc.ca>. They said to contact Ontario office. But I replied stating Ontario is not responding and asked for support.
Finally, CoPR and PPR issued by Calgary team who usually replies within 24 hours.
- In emails (advise you to send 1 in morning and 1 in evening): state clearly the consequences of long time separation with your outland dependent(s) such as job loss, lost focus, mental/financial hardships etc.

try direct emailing IRCC Delhi. You will need to spam IRCC Delhi for that send 2 mails daily & raise webforms very 2 days. Also Principal applicant in Canada needs to spam IRCC PR Confirmation portal email daily 2 times & he need to call IRCC contact centre everyday to be visible to IRCC for your case.

why outland dependent not received PPR? did you receive your COPR yet?

copr received on 6dec 2021. Till date waiting for ppr for outland .yesterday open work permit file withdrawn by embassy itself.

Also Principal applicant in Canada needs to spam IRCC PR Confirmation portal email daily 2 times & he need to call IRCC contact centre everyday to be visible to IRCC for your case.

We are sending emails to Montreal office (not reverting) and Calgary office( sent 20+times emails they said ur file is located with eastzone requested them to help as that office is not reverting but no revert) too, Delhi ircc too not daily like thrice a week. Raised we forms also

Please suggest if anyone gone through same situation.

You need to chase IRCC best I would suggest keep doing same sending emails but also try calling IRCC contact centre every alternate day. Principal applicant in Canada need to call the contact centre as calling IRCC agent allows agent to drop a priority mail to concerned IRCC officer. That has more visibility as IRCC officer never ignores priority mails from IRCC contact centre agents. Proof is every time you call IRCC agent they check status with IRCC officer & intimate them the situation better & adds an entry to your files GCMS system with is an actionable item.

Yeah my husband call them after one week they only say it's now with Delhi embassy so they can't do anything they can't push Delhi ircc to process fast.

Will try calling on daily basis hope this works.

Hello @Jass08 , ok so you know its at Delhi. I think even I'm in the same boat. Officer said the file is India. Did you receive any remedical request?

Yes the customer care representatives in Canada and even web form inside Canada only revert is that ircc delhi will forward u ppr , we are waiting if they ask for remedicals ( as previously I updated my work permit medical in pr case and it's expiring on 10th March) maybe they ask for it. Waiting
