Hi!

So, I just received my invitation to apply.

I’m just having problems/thoughts. I got invited thru Canadian Experience Class. Anyway, I declared 2 NOCs in my application.
My Primary NOC, 1123, which I have 3 years experience back home and the another NOC, 5423, whch is my 1 year of work experience here in canada. My question is, should I have declared the the 5423 my primary NOC? What are your thoughts? Thank you!

Hi - first, that must be a typo, as there is no 5423 code.

Beyond that - does it really make sense to base a Canadian Experience Application on an NOC for which you have no qualifying (in Canada) experience? To me, it is an odd choice, and yes, I think you should have chosen the NOC matching your in-Canada experience.

Does it matter? I honestly don´t know.

Hey Thank you for your reply. The score that i got for my 3 yrs work experience is 50 and for my 1 yr work experience in Canada is 40.

I rly don’t want to change my answers/decline the invite as I’m scared that I might not be able to get invited again. But maybe I can explain more in my LOE.

Thank you!

There is certainly no need to decline an ITA. People change NOC codes all the time between the profile and the eAPR. But again, I don´t know if there is a good reason for you to change it (or not).
