Hi

Just wondering, does my primary NOC have to be the same as the one that is on my LMIA and role I'm obviously currently doing. Or can it be the one I have most foreign experience in?

It's just the NOC in Canada I learnt on the job so there's no real date when I became qualified. I have my ITA and all my documents ready I'm just umming and ahhhing over this one question!

Thanks

Not sure if this is going to help in any way.

What do you mean by Primary Occupation?

Your primary occupation means the job you have experience in (within the last five years) and want to base your immigration application on, if you are invited to apply.

Thanks for your response. I've been through some of the threads and I can't seem to find whether it is mandatory to put the same NOC as my LMIA (as I believe that NOC isn't really what I do anyway).

I have a total experience of 7 years.. where the latest 1.5 years were in 1 NOC (2171) and before that for 5.5 years, were in another NOC(2183).
Can I select my primary NOC to be 2171, as I want my primary to be this.
