Primary NOC clarification

Hello,

I am getting ready to submit my express entry profile under CEC. I have a question regarding the primary NOC in the work history section.

I have 1+ year of work experience now (post graduation) that is split between two different jobs / roles:

1. 1112 - Investment Analyst (Internship) for 8 months
2. 2172 - Data Management Analyst for 8+ months and counting / till date

Both are under NOC category A.

My question is, which code (1112 or 2172) should I list as my primary occupation NOC? first role is more relevant to my field (but is an internship) and is for 8 months, whereas current role is somewhat related to field and will exceed 8 months. Do I need to put 1112 or 2172 or is does not matter?

Any advice / guidance is greatly appreciated!

I have one year of work experience now (post graduation) that is split between two different jobs / roles:

1. 2282 - Techical Support for 4 months (NOC B)
2. 2171 - Technology Analyst for 8+ months (current role) - NOC A


My question is, which code (2282 or 2171) should I list as my primary occupatio? 2171 reflects my current and longest employment.

So, a bit confused on which NOC to indicate as Primary NOC. Please advise.

Since you are applying under CEC, it does not matter.
