What are the chances of my visa getting rejected? It has been 2 weeks since the Canadian Embassy asked me to send passports and PRF. Does it usually takes this long?

mostly incase something come-up during security check then chances for rejection.
you know that you are never deported or not stay illegal in any country or you are not a criminal then dontworry.. relax.. and wait for PP with stamp...

Patience dear...takes around 3 weeks ... minimum. Hopefully u will get it by mid Oct 2011 max.

Why would they ask for your passport unless they intended to stamp a visa in it?

We used the in-person service at London which took 2 weeks, but for posting passports it varies from visa office to visa office. Up to 2 months is not unheard of, so no need to panic yet.
