Previously refused PR application, will it affect my student permit application

1.) Applied in 2002
File no. - ****
Purpose - PR
As a dependent
Result : Refused

2.) Applied in 2008
File no. - ****
Purpose - PR
As a dependant
Result : Refunded

With the file no. they can all the relevant details.Rather than explaining what the situation was and what went wrong. What do you say ?

Exactly.

You should not worry since you were not a principal applicant. And the processing was done on the eligibility/criteria of principal applicant.
