Dont know if this is the right forum, since I dont know if QSW falls in provincial or skilled workers. But here goes.

Hello all,
I have wanted to ask a question about my QSW application. I applied for FSW in 2009 in the college instructors category. I did not know any better and I just graduated my masters, and naively thought that I could get in with 2 years of part time Teaching assistant experience and private tutoring while in India. I received a letter stating that the VO does not believe I have the required experience and that when they called my university, they found that I did not have teaching responsibilities.

They also mentioned in the letter that although I am being rejected that time, there are several other ways to immigrate to Canada. So they havent closed the door on me.

Now I took that advice very seriously and applied in the QSW, learnt french, gave my interview and finished my medical 3 weeks ago. Does any one think my previous rejection might cause problems for me at this stage of my QSW?

A rejection won't affect any application as long as you have not lied and been banned from applying. I was not rejected once but twice (because like you I was naive and careless, I did not meet the requirements) and I finally got my PR and landed recently. Just make sure you meet all the requirements
