A previous employer despite repeated requests to include duties won't oblige. Will CIC reject my application because of duties missing from a previous job?

Could you perhaps get your supervisor/HR staff member to write it instead? Someone just posted on another thread that that would be acceptable.

You must include job description letter with your application. Don't worry if your employer doesn't provide you with the same.
You can ask one of your colleagues/seniors working in that company to sign you this letter. It is valid doc as per IRCC.

For the format of job description letter, please follow this link.

Not necessary - you can get it from any previous colleague even on plain paper and get it signed and notarized along with the LOE
Really?? Is this acceptable with them as it is a huge company and even my colleagues and managers can't just sign on a company letter head and the HR says it's only a AVP who can sign it or else they can issue me just a letter without mentioning the duties if the AVP is apparently too busy to verify my duties.

I think you should do what jpv2212 suggested.

Get a letter from HR and/or also get a colleague (senior staff member/manager) to sign a letter with your duties.

If you are working for a large blue chip company then you can include the job spec and your last performance review that should suffice CIC requirements.

Agree - no one can sign on the letterhead. Which is why they will give you a letter on plain paper in a personal capacity since they have worked with you or have been your supervisor. In any case as long as what you indicate on the letter is true, it will not be an issue. You will support this plain paper letter with proof of employment - joining letter, paystubs, etc. so it is perfectly fine.

I too am going to do the same - have obtained letters signed by current and ex-colleagues. Think of it this way - you may not want to disclose your immigration plans to your current employer. How will you get the letter in that scenario if you are using that work experience to claim points.

Hi everyone, though I am very late in asking but did any1 of you got the PR when u did not have the job description on letterhead???
