Hello everyone,

I hope you're doing well! I am preparing for a virtual interview for the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) Business Stream, and I was wondering if anyone here has gone through this process before.

If you’ve attended the interview in the past, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share your experience or any tips that might help me prepare better. Specifically, I’d love to know about the type of questions asked or the overall format of the interview.

Thank you in advance for your support and advice!

The NSNP Business Stream virtual interview usually covers your business experience, financial capacity, and how your proposed business will benefit Nova Scotia. Expect questions about your business plan, reasons for choosing Nova Scotia, and your plans to settle there. Be prepared to explain your background clearly and demonstrate your understanding of the local market and regulations. Knowing your business details inside out and showing genuine intent to contribute to the community will help you succeed.

I went through the NSNP Business Stream interview recently. They focused a lot on my business background, the viability of my business plan, and why I chose Nova Scotia. They asked how I plan to hire locally and contribute to the economy.

They also touched on settlement, like where I plan to live and how I’ll integrate into the community. Just be clear, honest, and know your business plan inside out.
