So your husband is going on a business trip that will last so long that you think you may deliver the baby in Canada?

As a visitor, you do not have health care coverage so you would have to pay for the delivery yourself. Could be $5,000-10,000 or possibly even more if something goes wrong.

However, if your husband is going to Canada on a work permit and you are going with him with an open work permit or a TRV based on his permit, you will most likely be covered under health care.
