if you don’t already have insurance that covers pregnancy, highly doubt that any insurance company will cover you.

Do you and your boyfriend live together? Are you able to get married? Maybe he can sponsor you as a spouse if you can get married and hopefully your application goes fast and approved before you give birth?

Which provinces are you located in? If you are in Ontario, then you would be covered by UHIP assuming you are still in school and haven't stopped attending.

Ontario and yes i have an insurance but I have to prepaid and then they will pay me back but they take really long so I was wondering if there is any way to get health card by my boyfriend?

Yes I have insurance. But I wanted to know if there is a way to have health card with my boyfriend. And we are moving together really soon, and now with this coronavirus i dont think we are going to be able to get marry..idk

There is - but it will take a long time.

He can sponsor you for PR once you are either married or common law. To be classified as common law, you must live together for a year first.

He would need to submit the application to sponsor you (based on being married or common law) and then a number of months later, you might qualify for OHIP. So possible but definitely not fast.

Zero chance of getting OHIP before the birth. You would have to get married, apply for inland sponsorship with an OWP, get the OWP 4-5 months later and then start working a full-time job with an offer of at least 6 months before you would qualify for OHIP.

If you can't afford to have the birth here, then you should return to your country.

i didn’t even think of UHIP.

your boyfriend being a citizen does not get you OHIP. as others have mentioned, you can try to get married (since you are not common law) and do an inland sponsorship app. No guarantees at all that you will get OHIP before birth. You need to come up with the money but be wary of extra costs should there be any complications. If you can’t come up with the money, it is logical to give birth in your home country.
