hi All.
I am from India and working in Canada currently. I have the ITA and I am very close to submitting all the documents. I just realized that my 6 year old son's birth certificate has an extra Md. (abbreviation of Mohammed) included in my name (in father's section). Remaining everything is correct. e.g: if my name is 'Abdul Ahmad' in my passport then in my son's birth certificate it is 'Md. Abdul Ahmad'.
An another document of my son, e.g: passport has Father's name as 'Abdul Ahmed' which matches with the name I have in my passport. Will this extra Md. prefix in my name in his birth certificate be an issue and a cause for rejection?
Please note that Md. is also used in my country as a salutation and in some areas they add this extra Md. as a salutation like Mr./Mrs etc.
Experts please suggest.
