Pre-Arrival housing

Hi,

I did not recieve an email about pre-arrival services. I did however sign up for them on the immigration website.
I am wondering if anyone has any advice about setting up a place to live before landing?

It's very dependent on where you plan to move to and how tough the rental or housing market is there. Some people like to rent an Airbnb or other type of short term rental to stay in for a month or two, so that they can physically be there to look at apartments/houses
