Recently we got inquiry from CIC in which few things mismatched between me n my wife. couple of days back we recieved a letter frm CIC to clarify those things.

My query is ; what do u guyz think of our application now, will they approve it?

It is totaly unfair with pre june 2010 applicants by canada govt.
why they accepted so many application if they know that they can't process,
all the applicants hoped that they get P.R. with in year.. but now the situation is different...
but the matter is that who is responsible for this delay..?

CIC are responsible because they didn't put a limit on the intake of applications until the situation was already out of hand. In the period Feb 2008 to June 2010 they received over 400,000 applications, roughly twice what they were expecting.

But they have now put a limit on FSW1 applications, 20,000 last year (they only had 14,000) and 10,000 this year, and also limiting individual NOCs to ensure they do not get swamped from popular NOCs, I think they will be able to make good headway into eating through the backlog.

But processing a backlog of half a million total applications isn't going to be a 5 minute job. But I think they can have cleared the majority of them within the next 2 years.

I am also suffering a lot bcoz of this delay... my case was filed on 14th may 2010.... No news from CIC... I mailed to Canada High Commission... No use... please help me with ur latest updates...

I noticed that for those who had applied 2-3 years ago VO requesting a new or updated PCC. So I checked copy of our papers and found that some countries ( for both me & my husband we have total 5 PCC) don't have exp date of the Certificate. i.e Maldives PC clearly said valid only for 3 month, but African and Indian doesn't have any single word about this. We have submitted all PCC together with the main file in August 2010( as it was mentioned in the check list), so does it mean that VO may request for updated ones?Please let me know what is you experience in such matter.

I am currently looking for a job change? My question is, Is it worth to change the same right now or wait for sometime, say 2-3 months, and if still there is no MR, then change the job?

Hi Mehulca,
I would suggest you not to wait for the visa. It may take more than 3 months, may be more than a year. Good opportunities may not wait that long. I experienced similar situation 6 months back, got an excellent job but not accepted on anticipation of getting visa soon. Now I am searching again but not getting a good one. It is going to affect my career, for sure. So, please rethink.

CiC is playing with our time and money. The needed the fees to be running their county and they do not care about the situation the applicants find themselves. They really need to be very polite, when the answer applicants, but instead, they do not reply or try to reply and very provocative. I am happy , deep down in my heart i have given and continued my life.

They say something today and after a few days , they say the opposite. They can not make written agreements and change them without any apology. I am happy for those applicants who have the time to teach them a lesson , by taking them to court.

What's your NOC code and visa office? Going by your time line , you should have got the visa long time back. I am so surprised that an applicant who applied under MI 1 in feb2009 is still waiting for medical.

Vo london asked me PCC only after OCt 2009 where i stayed becuse already i have submitted PCC in OCT 2009 So I think u wil not need PCC from ex countries that u already submitted to CHC

why dont you order CAIPS to see if your VO has commented anything special?
