PR Validity Period?

Hi There,

I have sponsored PR for my daughter, the application is still in process. On sponsoring for my daughter, what would be the PR validity period for her? I mean, would it be the PR expiry date on my PR card taken in to consideration or 5 Years from the date the PR sponsorship application approval?

The 5 year validity residency rule starts from the time your daughter becomes PR on Canada. The day she lands in Canada. Not from the time you submit your application.
