Just completed my three year PR period. Looking at citizenship requirements was wondering if police clearance is mandatory (esp. for one-year back home)or is ok if other prerequisites are met.
Assume you read the document checklist ? Certificate required where spent 183 days or more (not consecutive but in total) in any country in the 4 years before your application. If you cannot get one you need to explain reasons why.
