PR through AIP

Hi, I want to check on challenges on obtaining PR through AIP, some consultants are saying it can be done in 15 months and is hassle free, can any one of you highlight practical challenges on obtaining PR card through AIP how many days does it take for PR card to come in hand, do I need to stay in Atlantic proince for all the time from landing to obtaining PR card. Can I leave Canada and PR card come come by postal to my buddies place in Atlantic provinces

My passport in which the Canada Work Permit has been stamped is having wrong DOB whereas I have corrected all other documents as per the birth certificate. Can someone suggests whether will there be any problem while applying for PR?
