PR- Protected Person in Canada

I applied for the PR in October 2022. I received a message in February 2023 containing the application number for me and my wife ( overseas). After that they asked me to complete some documents such as the police certificate.

My application status now is:
Background check: N/A
Status: we are checking that you meet the requirements of the program..

How long it will take from now as per your experience?

Between 13 - 24 months.... all depend on the officer handling your file and the completeness of the requested documents you submitted.
