I’ve got my COPR and am moving to Vancouver Island. I’d like to land via the Black Ball Ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria. Does that office handle PR landing business?

Also wondering if it’s critical that we do all the car importation paperwork upon entry. We’re hoping to take care of that at a later date if possible.

You will need to complete a form (BSF186) for everything that you are bringing with you when you land and a second form (BSF184A) for any items that you will be bringing later, if you are not settling in Canada right away. You can find more info, here:

You're going to love Victoria...and all parts of Vancouver Island.
Well...most parts. ;)

Hi @Ponga thanks for the response. These links are helpful resources for importation of items. I tried calling CBSA and they aren't picking up the phone, after hours on hold.

Has anyone had experience landing in Victoria, and importing a vehicle?
