PR Landing in Canada - Reference Letter from Insurance Company, inventory lists

Hi All,
I understand that there excellent content on the landing procedure in Canada on this forum and I highly appreciate to the person who took the time to put through those details!
However, searching for specific replies (for specific information) in that topic became a very difficult task, hence I am starting a separate topic with a very specific question:
The My CIC site lists the following documents that are or may be needed:

The list of "Other Documents you may need" also has the below document mentioned:
Driver’s licence, including an International Driver’s Permit and a reference from your auto insurance company

What is this reference letter from your insurance company? What is the content expected in such reference letter? Has anyone got this letter? If yes, any information on the content and format will be really helpful!

One more question - they have asked for 2 copies of the list of inventories: one with things that we are carrying with us and other with things that will follow.
How detailed these lists need to be?
Can someone share a sample?
