How long does it take to have a inland Landing interview? I got an email from CIC saying that I will be contacted by CIC in my region but until now I haven't heard from them.

It depends on your local office. Some can be quick while others can take a long time. Where is your local office?

I have been asked to pay a PR Landing fee of $490. My husband says that the fee is already paid while processing the PR application. Can anyone reply if I need to make the payment again or its the same?

It depends if you chose to pay it at the start together with the PR application fees. If they are requesting it, you probably didn’t.

If you already paid it, use the same receipt.

If bank statements were requested, bring new ones.

No they have requested for passport and id and sin with photos that’s all I see in request letter

It’s literally written in black and white and sent by IRCC. It’s not the norm here to request for something that you weren’t asked to prepare for. You should be thrilled they didn’t ask for bank statements; that means they were satisfied with what you had submitted. They will only ask for that if they had any doubts over your POF during the eligibility check.

Did they schedule your appointment on weekdays? it is weird that they scheduled my landing interview on Saturday. I think the office is closed on Saturdays and it is confirmed form the website!

1. CIC employees do work overtime. If the volume of work requires it, they will hold interviews on a Saturday.
