PR in canada for software enginner

I am a software engineer working with an India based unit of a US based MNC. I have 3 yrs of Exp. I want to know that will I be able to get PR in canada as I have read a lot that software engineering is not in the list of occupations in demand out there in canada???Either I have to be a manager or I have to wait for a job offer from a canadian employer...Is this true? I mean is there no way I can apply for a canadian PR at present??

yep bro it is true, software engineering is no longer in NOC list.
