Hi Friends,
I am a Canadian citizen since April 2007, I first landed in March 2002 and fulfilled residency requirement so i got my citizenship. In January 2004 I got married and my wife landed to Toronto in 2004, I was doing job here so i stayed in Toronto and sent back my wife to my home country as my Father had brain tumor and she was living my mother. She used to visit me and I also used to go back home. After getting my citizenship I moved back to back home as my mother was alone there after father death. After 2007 April when I moved there i lived with my wife and her PR card expired on Jan 2008. I just need to confirm that as she was living with me so is she eligible to get Canadian residency again. Technically speaking , it is only less than a year she spent with me after my citizenship to expiry of her PR card. I need advise on the basis of this technical problem. I understand if i spent time with her two years or more than two year before expiry of her PR card then it was not problem. However we are living together since 2007 till to date. After expiry of PR card (5 years period) if she spent time with me , is there any hinderance to apply for his renewal of PR.
