PR Cards Delay

I landed on Ottawa more than 50 days ago and didn't receive our PR cards yet.
Is this normal? At the airport they told us to expect them within 6 weeks!

Yes - this is perfectly normal. Current processing time for PR cards is 73 days:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-card.asp

Check the information on the CIC site rather than listening to the IO. The IOs don't always know the latest processing times.
