If we apply for an outland pr card for my husband, is it possible to remain outside Canada until being approved PS: This site is the best Thanks to all

Yes. I see from your other posts that you are a Canadian citizen. A Canadian citizen can sponsor a spouse from outside Canada as long as they show plans to move to Canada when the spouse gets their PR. Since you both have job offers, getting some letters to that effect would help you show those plans.

Do you have citizenship certificates for your children already? If not, you should apply for them now. Ask for them to be expedited as you are sponsoring your husband for PR and want to move as soon as he gets it.

You can stay outside Canada until the processing is done. When he gets his PR visa, he must land before the expiry date but if you are not ready to move yet at that point, he can go land and come back.

Yes i am a Canadian Citizen (born in BC) my oldest son has his Canadian passport done, I am starting my youngest son's now, if I may ask another question for the spousal sponsorship as i understand it I will need to earn at least $43,000 to sponsor my family (husband & 2 sons) but I also read that if I show intent to stay in Canada after my husband receives his PR Card I may be exempt from that amount is this right ?, one more I'm sorry when he receives his PR card will he still need a work visa or will that not be needed to work Thank You so much

spousal cases are exempt from LICO (low income cut-off), The sponsor is not required to meet the income requirements if he or she is sponsoring a spouse.

you just need to provide them with the option C print out or a similar document if you are living abroad.

Right. Spouses being sponsored are exempt from income requirements.

A person with a PR card will not need a work permit. They can do everything a citizen can do except vote.

you guys are terrific,1 more ok, can we apply for a PR card without sponsoring my husband ?, :)

He can not get a PR card unless he is a permanent resident of Canada and he will not become that unless you sponsor him or he finds another way to apply. Being sponsored by a spouse is generally the fastest and easiest way to do it.
