PR card

I landed in June and since I was moving I didn't give my address at landing. Then I updated my address through Address Notification Service more than 15 days ago, so I could receive my PR card at my new address. The new address is not showing up in my PR status account. I am worried if they forgot to process it. I tried contacting call center but their lines are always busy. What should I do?

Sometimes it takes time to update the system.

Same here, it says 43 days for pr card, and its been 9 weeks since I landed. Im filling out the Solemn declaration form to let them know I have not received it.

My case is worst than yours as 125 days have passed since landing but no PR CARD.

Did you get your cards after filing SOLEMN DECLARATION ?! Please advise, so that i can also do the same.

The day i was going to fax the solemn declaration, it arrived. took about ten weeks. It doesnt hurt to fill out he form and fax it to them if its gone way beyond the processing time already.

Just noticed this post. If you don't supply an address when you land, your PR card is not ordered. You have to order it yourself. Have you?

I landed on 21 January 2014 and my PR Card didn't arrive until 15 May 2014. Almost 4 months. Gave me a lot of headaches. So always be skeptical of the processing times provided by government websites. CIC is inefficient!

Have you checked with CIC, what do they say about delay in issuing PR cards.

Yes you need PR card to get a driver license.

Yes you need PR card to get a driver license.

I can confirm that you do NOT need the PR Card if you are getting the license in Ontario. Both I and my wife got our licenses after taking the tests based on our passport and COPR in April this year. I have heard from some that some of the other provinces may require the PR Card
