Hi All

Can any one make me know how long it takes to receive PR Card when address is provided at the entry point , Toronto?

Is it allowed to go out of Canada prior to receiving the PR Card while the main applicant will be in Canada?

As I want to know this because my daughter has to attend her UNi till end of June 2009.

Appreciate your advice

It usually takes 4 to 6 weeks to get the PR card in the mail. You can go out of Canada before receiving PR card. Many do. Ask about that when you land. If you are in Canada and the PR card is mailed to your address, you can also send it to your daughter via mail or fed-ex so she can use it when she comes back.
