Hi Everyone

Assuming Corona situation goes away in next 2 months, I have to go for soft landing via flight from U.S to Canada in June, and come back to U.S. How much time does it usually take for the PR card to arrive at Canadian address. If it takes 2 months to arrive, and within those 2 months(from June to August), I have to commute from U.S to Canada daily via road(Detroit to Windsor), will it be possible to do so without PR card? I read somewhere that PRTD can be applied for, but is it only for urgent cases? I also read somewhere that for road travel from U.S to Canada, neither PR card, nor PRTD is required. Can someone shed some light regarding this?
Thanks

You don’t need PR Card to cross land border using private vehicle. Just passport and COPR. I’ve done it driving from Seattle to Vancouver while waiting for my PR Card.

Have you crossed once or multiple times with just COPR/passport? That might be the OPs next question plus dufferent borders can of course react differently.
