PR card renewal with record and citizenship

Hi everyone!
Hope everyone is doing well?
I am landed immigrant from 2008 and received my 1st PR card.

Now the question of the century is, I would like to know after renewal of PR card am I eligible for Citizenship status or get pardon officially than apply for citizenship? Whichever comes first?

The charge was in 2013 for minor sex assault for suspended sentence. That's all I can point out for Citizenship status to get or not.
