PR CARD RENEWAL SUBMITTED DECEMBER 2025

As I mentioned, I am looking into my previous PR card application (of the year 2021) status which was linked to my IRCC account. In that previous application, i am referring to the document section.

I am not able to link the current application to view the status of current application.

What's your previous PR card expiry date on the card?

the person I know forgot to apply for new card while old one expired, official let her in(she flew to buffalo, took a uber to the bridge, walked through the bridge and someone picked her up on the canadian side.)

So coming back through rainbow bridge (car) is okay?
Can you explain little further what was the situation. Did there PR card got renewed when they were coming back?

Application submitted : 4-Dec-2025

Not able to link the application to the IRCC account as it is showing up the old application.

On 17-Dec, spoke to the IRCC agent but they said still they are doing compleness check for the applications submitted on 15-Nov-2025.

Same application date and unable to link application to IRCC account for the same reason.
Dev tool shows status updated on Dec-31-2025 which is the issued date printed on the new PR card. As others pointed out, the status "rejectionDetails": "You have not provided us with a valid Primary Identity Document- please review Guide IMM5445" is incorrect and untrue as I received my card yesterday Jan-13-2026 without taking any actions. PR Portal status remains Submitted, Status last updated stays at submission date.

I submitted mine December 18 and I'm still at the "submitted" status. I tried linking to my IRCC account, but it doesn't recognize my info. I submitted a web form for assistance, but we'll see if/when I hear back.

PRTD should be applied outside Canada. From my recent experiences, PRTD's are NOT taking any less time, they are taking 30 days if you apply in India. So plan accordingly. We did multiple PRTD's in India (New Delhi - IRCC) for my family members and all of us received passports around 30 days.

We have seen many be able to apply from Canada before they leave.
